Living it up in Cabo

In late February, Brian and I took a little trip to Cabo. Brian's parents were spending three weeks at their vacation share, and we decided to crash their trip for a week. Our friends Garrett and Sarah also spent the week in Cabo and stayed down the street from us.

We had an incredible time enjoying life in Mexico. This was our third trip to Cabo, but it felt completely different than our first two visits. We were walking distance from downtown Cabo (previously, we stayed in the corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose), and our resort backed up to what I consider a mountain. I am from the great - and very flat - state of Illinois, so large hills seem monstrous to me.

Our week consisted of relaxing in the pool while watching whales, dolphins and jumping sting ray in the ocean. We also spent a great deal of time eating heaping plates of nachos and drinking scrumptious adult beverages. Ella chilled in KC with Grandma and Grandpa Marsili and had herself a fabulous time as well. My parents experienced a crazy strong thunderstorm one day and then snow showers the next day. Welcome to Kansas City. Below are pics from our trip. Keep scrolling ... there's an obnoxious amount of images.

We drank it all with some help from the boys
