Storytime with Ella

Potty training can get pretty boring, so Ella has decided to pass the time with some light reading. She is precious.

Father's Day and other shenanigans

Happy Father's Day to the best dad and hubs ever. Ella is wearing this yucky Cardinals gear just for Brian. Obviously, if it wasn't his day, she'd be sporting an adorable Cubby bear.

In addition to dressing my daughter in ridiculous outfits, here's what we've been up to this spring.

We went to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Marsili. Ella's favorite part of our visit ... the carousel. She most definitely balled when we had to get off.

This kangaroo wanted to eat me. No joke.

The dirtiest sheep ever.

We went to Kendall's gymnastics showcase.

Ella wanted to tumble too.

We painted birthday/Mother's Day gifts.

We celebrated my aunt's 70th birthday party in Wisconsin, and then Ella hurt her leg.

All fancy in her birthday party dress.

Aunt Sharon was surprised!

Ella with her boot and that lovely Cardinals outfit, again.
Finally, we attended Kendall's dance recital. Ella sat through the entire thing and loved every moment.

So excited to give Kendall her flowers.

Holy hair

If you ever feel like you're having a bad hair day, just refer to these pictures of Ella. Surely it can't be worse than this little girl's fro.

Easter ... better late than never

I realize Easter was nearly two months ago, but we've had a busy spring, so I'm a bit behind. Ella and Kendall had Easter pictures taken with chicks. Somehow the chicks survived Ella's not so gentle grip. We then went to Panora and Atlantic for Easter. Ella discovered her love of chocolate that weekend. At one point we realized we hadn't seen or heard Ella for a few minutes. I found her in a separate room eating a chocolate egg she got her hands on. Like mother, like daughter.

No chicks were harmed during this photo shoot ... only slightly strangled. :)
